Cheryl made her professional debut at 15 in KL performing at The Actors' Studio Bangsar. She has been working in Singapore for 6 years now starring in plays, musicals and television series. Her notable stage roles include Juliet for Shakespeare in the Park, Empress Dowager Cixi in Forbidden City (for which she was nominated for a Life! Theatre Award), and Ivy Chan in Beauty World. On TV she has played leads in Faculty, Derek seasons 1 and 2, Code of Law and Paddles Up.
She has a Cameronian arts award for Best Performer in a Leading Role. Internationally, Cheryl appeared in acclaimed HBO show Westworld alongside Aaron Paul. She was also nominated for a Women Of The Future Award.
Cheryl also directed and produced a sold out run of Follow The Light in Malaysia and has won several prizes at the Short+Sweet KL Festival for her direction and writing. She is currently working on writing lyrics for a musical and creating a solo show.
Cheryl is represented by Fly Entertainment in Singapore, Claire Bowen in Australia and Zero Gravity in the US. She has recently auditioned for productions by Netflix and the BBC.
